Without a doubt, virtual production is revolutionizing cinematic and broadcast production. Content creators are looking for ways to streamline their workflows, reduce cost, and increase the pace of output.
Aximmerty's virtual production software platform solves all of these problems by acting as the "studio glue", tying together the disparate elements of a VP studio. With one toolset, it's now possible to integrate virtual sets with live camera inputs, lens data, positional tracking, LED walls, and more.
Whether your production is a more traditional green-screen virtual set, AR environment, or LED wall production, Aximmetry's node-based workflow supports all of them from one interface
All editions of Aximmetry come with its state-of-the-art chroma keyer, able to perform broadcast-quality, real-time keying with GPU acceleration. The 3D Cleanplate feature guarantees perfect keying even when using a moving camera and large green screens. Seamless blend the physical and virtual worlds with virtual shadows on the talent combined with life-like shadows generated by the talent itself.
Aximmetry software is available in two versions to fit different levels of production.
Dual-engine "DE" versions include both Aximmetry's own powerful render engine and Unreal Engine. With the Unreal Engine toolset, virtual sets created in Unreal can easily be imported and linked to Aximmetry studio setups.
Single-engine "SE" versions include only the Aximmetry render engine for users who don't need Unreal capabilities.
Calibrating a physical camera lens to match a virtual camera can be a tedius process, and even moreso for a multi-camera production.
Aximmetry comes with a built-in camera calibrator that works with any camera, making it painless to set up any number of cameras for your virtual production.
Studio and Professional versions of Aximmetry support a large number of object tracking systems for blending physical cameras and objects with virtual ones, including HTC Vive, Antilatency, Intel RealSense, and OptiTrack.
Broadcast versions include support for professional tracking systems such as Free-D (used by HTC Vive Mars and others), Ncam, Mo-Sys, Stype, and zLense.
Aximmetry's amazing virtual production capabilities are useless without the right hardware running it. That's why they have partnered with Switchblade Systems, a leading manufacturer of broadcast-grade production hardware, to design systems that work out of the box.
All Switchblade units with Aximmetry are optimized with the best combination of performance, features and cost to get your studio running quickly.
