Cinegy Route

Cinegy Route registers, controls, and announces RTP/UDP streams on the network. With Cinegy Route all the IP-based
signaling capable equipment such as satellite receivers, Cinegy Capture, Cinegy Encode, Cinegy Air and others can be
automatically registered in the Cinegy Route Directory and have human readable names assigned to them. Virtual
Channels or Destinations can be created that are formed on-the-fly from multiple IP sources, e.g. a football match
video feed from a satellite receiver and an audio commentary coming via MPLS or VPN. These sources can be “merged”
in the IP domain including e.g. audio processing without having to go back to base-band. Cinegy Route can be used to
map or switch source to destination routing in the IP domain with live preview capabilities of the signal at any stage.
Access rights can be assigned to sources and destinations to manage or protect operations. Cinegy Route can be used
in conjunction with other Cinegy products such as Cinegy Multiviewer to set up flexible and powerful workflows.
Cinegy Route consists of a number of services and applications: Cinegy Channel Directory Server, Cinegy Channel
Relay Server, Cinegy Channel Browser, Cinegy Channel Manager and a number of small and useful tools.
